Giới thiệu về IMO

Kỳ thi Olympic Toán học Quốc tế - International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO) là sân chơi toán học đẳng cấp quốc tế được tổ chức thường niên bởi Tổ chức Olympic Khoa học (Science Olympiad Foundation - SOF). Cuộc thi dành cho học sinh từ lớp 1 đến lớp 12 khám phá khả năng tư duy, chinh phục những thử thách và khẳng định niềm đam mê toán học của mình.

Mục tiêu của kỳ thi IMO:
✅ Khám phá và bồi dưỡng tài năng toán học trẻ: Giúp học sinh phát huy tối đa khả năng tư duy logic, phân tích và sáng tạo.
✅ Tạo nền tảng vững chắc cho tương lai: Chuẩn bị cho học sinh bước vào môi trường cạnh tranh toàn cầu ngay từ khi còn ngồi trên ghế nhà trường.
✅ Tăng cơ hội hội nhập quốc tế: Mở rộng kết nối với cộng đồng học sinh và giáo viên yêu thích toán học trên khắp thế giới.

Hằng năm, kỳ thi Olympic Toán học Quốc tế - International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO) thu hút hàng nghìn thí sinh đến từ nhiều quốc gia và vùng lãnh thổ như Ấn Độ, Anh, Mỹ, Úc, Singapore, Malaysia, Thái Lan, Ai Cập, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Hàn Quốc, Trung Quốc…. Đề thi được thiết kế toàn diện, bao phủ nhiều lĩnh vực toán học, từ số học, hình học, đại số đến các dạng bài nâng cao, giúp học sinh thử thách và khẳng định năng lực.

Khối lớp 1 Section 1: Patterns, Odd One Out, Measuring Units, Geometrical Shapes, Spatial Understanding, Grouping of Figures, Analogy, Ranking Test, Problems based on Figures.

Section 2: Numerals, Number Names, Number Sense (2-digit numbers), Addition, Subtraction, Lengths, Weights and Comparisons, Time, Money, Geometrical Shapes and Solids.

Khối lớp 2 Section 1: Patterns, Odd One Out, Measuring Units, Geometrical Shapes, Analogy, Ranking Test, Grouping of Figures, Embedded Figures, Coding-Decoding.

Section 2: Numerals, Number Names, Number Sense (3-digit numbers), Computation Operations, Length, Weight, Capacity, Time, Temperature, Money, Lines, Shapes and Solids, Pictographs, Patterns.

Khối lớp 3 Section 1: Patterns, Analogy and Classification, Alphabet Test, Coding-Decoding, Ranking Test, Grouping of Figures and Figure Matrix, Mirror Images, Geometrical Shapes, Embedded Figures, Possible Combinations, Clock and Calendar.

Section 2: Numerals, Number Names, Number Sense (4-digit numbers), Computation Operations, Fractions, Length, Weight, Capacity, Temperature, Time, Money, Geometry, Data Handling.

Khối lớp 4 Section 1: Patterns, Alphabet Test, Coding-Decoding, Ranking Test, Mirror Images, Geometrical Shapes and Solids, Embedded Figures, Direction Sense Test, Possible Combinations, Analogy and Classification, Clock and Calendar.

Section 2: Numerals, Number Names, Number Sense (more than 4-digit numbers), Computation Operations, Fractions, Length, Weight, Capacity, Time, Money, Geometry, Perimeter of Various Shapes, Symmetry, Conversions, Data Handling.

Khối lớp 5 Section 1: Patterns, Analogy, Classification, Geometrical Shapes, Mirror and Water Images, Direction Sense Test, Ranking Test, Alphabet Test, Logical Sequence of Words, Puzzle Test, Coding-Decoding, Clock and Calendar.

Section 2: Numerals, Number Names, Number Sense (7 and 8 digit numbers), Computation Operations, Fractions and Decimals, Measurement of Length, Weight, Capacity, Time, Temperature and Money, Conversions, Angles, Perimeter of Various Shapes & Area of Rectangle and Square, Symmetry, Data Handling.

Khối lớp 6 Section 1: Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning.

Section 2: Patterns in Mathematics, Lines and Angles, Number Play, Data Handling and Presentation, Prime Time, Perimeter and Area, Fractions, Playing with Constructions, Symmetry, The Other Side of Zero.

Khối lớp 7 Section 1: Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning.

Section 2: Integers, Fractions and Decimals, Exponents and Powers, Algebraic Expressions, Simple Equations, Lines and Angles, Comparing Quantities, The Triangle and its Properties, Symmetry, Rational Numbers, Perimeter and Area, Data Handling, Visualising Solid Shapes.

Khối lớp 8 Section 1: Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning.

Section 2: Rational Numbers, Squares and Square Roots, Cubes and Cube Roots, Exponents and Powers, Comparing Quantities, Algebraic Expressions, Linear Equations in One Variable, Understanding Quadrilaterals, Mensuration, Data Handling, Direct and Inverse Proportions, Factorisation, Introduction to Graphs.

Khối lớp 9 Section 1: Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning.

Section 2: Number Systems, Polynomials, Coordinate Geometry, Linear Equations in Two Variables, Introduction to Euclid’s Geometry, Lines and Angles, Triangles, Quadrilaterals, Circles, Heron’s Formula, Surface Areas and Volumes, Statistics.

Section 3: The syllabus of this section will be based on the syllabus of Mathematical Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude.

Khối lớp 10 Section 1: Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning.

Section 2: Real Numbers, Polynomials, Pair of Linear Equations in Two Variables, Quadratic Equations, Arithmetic Progressions, Triangles, Coordinate Geometry, Introduction to Trigonometry, Some Applications of Trigonometry, Circles, Areas Related to Circles, Surface Areas and Volumes, Statistics, Probability.

Section 3: The syllabus of this section will be based on the syllabus of Mathematical Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude.

Khối lớp 11 Section 1: Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning.

Section 2: Sets, Relations and Functions, Logarithms, Complex Numbers, Linear Inequalities, Sequences and Series, Trigonometry, Straight Lines, Conic Sections, Permutations and Combinations, Binomial Theorem, Statistics, Limits and Derivatives, Probability, Introduction to 3-D Geometry.

Vòng sơ loại quốc tế: Dự kiến thi tháng 12/2025.

Vòng sơ loại quốc tế chỉ dành cho các thí sinh đạt giải vô địch, á quân, vàng, bạc, đồng, khuyến khích tại Vòng quốc gia.

Đăng ký tham dự vòng sơ loại quốc tế: Sau khi có kết quả vòng quốc gia, Ban tổ chức sẽ gửi thông báo đến với các thí sinh đạt giải vô địch, á quân, vàng, bạc, đồng, khuyến khích tại vòng quốc gia.

Hình thức thi: Lựa chọn thi tập trung theo hướng dẫn của Ban tổ chức, hoặc thi trực tuyến online có giám sát.

Lệ phí thi: Thông báo sau khi có kết quả vòng thi quốc gia.

Các kỳ thi Olympiad là các cuộc thi quốc tế về khoa học, toán học, tiếng Anh và thương mại.

Chúng tôi tổ chức 4 kỳ thi Olympiad, bao gồm ICSO, IMO, IEO và ICO, mỗi kỳ thi đều có đặc điểm riêng.

Thời gian đăng ký?

Thời gian đăng ký được thông báo trên website của chúng tôi trước mỗi kỳ thi.

Ai tổ chức các kỳ thi?

Tiimedu là đại diện của Science Olympiad Foundation tại Việt Nam, tổ chức các kỳ thi Olympiad quốc tế.

Ai có thể tham gia?

Đối với ICSO: Học sinh khối lớp 1 đến khối lớp 10. IMO và IEO: Học sinh khối lớp 1 đến khối lớp 12. Riêng ICO: Chỉ dành cho học sinh khối lớp 11 và 12.

Có phí tham gia không?

Có. Đối với vòng quốc gia: 260,000 đ/thí sinh. Đối với vòng quốc tế, vòng sơ loại quốc tế, vòng chung kết toàn cầu: Chờ thông báo của BTC.
